NOC Fall Play, “I Take This Man” tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.

The Northern Oklahoma College Fine Arts Division will present “I Take This Man,” by Jack Sharkey and produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., beginning Sept. 24 in the Kinzer Performing Arts Center on the Tonkawa campus.  Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24 - 26 and Oct. 2 – 3, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27.

The play, directed by John Michael Warburton, is an outrageous concoction of wild, warm and lightning-paced hilarity and is perfect for the entire family.  The production centers around an incident where Gideon Hollis spots an unconscious man lying in Copley Square just after the Boston Marathon racers have crossed the finish line, and she reasons that since nice guys finish last this must be Mr. Right.  After the man revives and cannot remember who he is, Gideon tells him that they are married. Complications ensue at a furious pace in this hilarious comedy.

Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for non-NOC students and free for NOC faculty, staff and students.
