  • Clemons, Rodriguez named NOC Tonkawa Players of the Week

    Claresha Clemons and Alex Rodriguez are Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa picks for softball and baseball Players of the Week, respectively, for the week ending March 6. Clemons, nominated by head softball coach Kadie Berlin, went 2 for 2 in the Lady Mavs’ first game against Friends University of Wichita, Kan., and 4 for 5 in the second game, picking up her first win in the circle. For the season, she is hitting .456, has 2 home runs, 22 RBI’s, 15 runs and 1 stolen base.   Read More...

  • Men's Basketball: Mavs Advance to NJCAA Region II Finals

    Friday March 4th: The Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa Mavericks defeated Western Oklahoma State College 92-77 in the NJCAA Region II Semi-Finals. The will advance to play Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in the NJCAA Region II Finals at 4pm Saturday March 5th at St. Gregory's University in Shawnee, OK.   Read More...

  • NOC’S JACKSON NAMED REGION II COACH OF YEAR

    Donnie Jackson, head men’s basketball coach at Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa, has been named NJCAA Region II Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year. In only his third season at NOC, Jackson improved the Mavericks’ overall record from 19-12 his first year to a regular season record of 24-6, one of the best in the school’s history.
