Jets Cheer Tryouts for Spring 2013 

Tryout Location:      

To be held at the Mabee Center on campus  

DATES AND TIME:

 May 10-11

Time:

May 10th 3:00-7:30pm (Material - Skills - Interview)

May 11th 9am-Until finished (Warm Up - Review - Tryout)

*Squad will be posted that day

*You must contact me before sending in Video Tryouts 

Open Gym Practice Dates:  

 There will NOT be any more open practices before tryouts

Cheerleading Tryout Requirements:

·         Open Stunting

·         Chants – Must perform chant taught on Friday

.          Fight Song-Will be taught on Friday

·         Jumps – Toe Touch and Pike/Hurdler Combination

·         Tumbling – Encouraged but not required.

·         Coaches' Interview

·         Attire:  Fitted Red t-shirt/Sports Bra and Black soffe shorts/Hot Pants (girls)

                     Red t-shirt and Black shorts (guys)

 College Cheer Camp:

We will be attending NCA College Camp August 17-18

(This is an expense you will have to pay)

2 a day Practices during the summer:

Days will be handed out at the end of Tryouts

Additional Tryout Date:  IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CHEER FOR THE JETS AND MISSED TRYOUTS, PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP!!! WE WILL BE HAVING AN ADDITIONAL COMPETITION TRYOUT LATER IN THE FALL.
