Recruiter of Scholars for Excellence in Child Care Sponsored Programs- Stillwater- Full Time

SUMMARY: The recruiter will be responsible for recruiting eligible child care professionals for enrollment in a child development certificate or degree program at Northern Oklahoma College. Additionally, the recruiter will be responsible for student follow up and application progress and other duties as assigned. The position will begin contingent upon budget approval

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:

  • Recruit scholars from all eligible centers in the NOC assigned areas according to guidebook standards
  • Attend with the Scholar Coordinator and assist in providing promotional material to all partners and licensing staff at regular or quarterly meetings
  • Assist potential scholars with the SECC and college applications
  • Follow up on any problems or concerns with the scholar completing the scholarship application and other required paperwork needed for the application
  • Assist scholars with completing their FAFSA applications
  • Collect the scholarship application and other required documentation and submit all required forms to the Scholar Coordinator Assistant for processing
  • Assist the Scholar Coordinator and Assistant with required reports for NOC and OSRHE/DHS
  • Maintain all scholar progress notes for recruitment, director contact and application in the Scholarship Tracker
  • Assist the Scholar Coordinator and/or Assistant in creating, ordering and maintaining recruitment publications, fliers and mail outs

Coordinator for Special Populations- Tonkawa- Full Time

SUMMARY:  Under the administrative direction of the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Registrar, the Coordinator for Special Populations serves special populations for the entire Northern Oklahoma College community.  In addition, the individual in this position serves as a resource for all NOC Special Population students. The position provides leadership and vision in the administration of a range of services, policies and procedures related to assisting the success of special populations. The position participates in strategic enrollment planning in support of the mission and goals of the college where all have the opportunity to succeed. While the position is housed at the Tonkawa location, the person coordinates admissions, registration, tutoring and advising services for special population students for the entire institution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:

  • Coordinate annual information seminars with the North Central Tribes of Oklahoma
  • Coordinate cultural program for Native American Heritage Week
  • Coordinate the summer leadership program for Native American students
  • Teach Native American Culture Class and Freshman Orientation class, if credentialed
  • Serve as liaison to Tribal Higher Education offices and American Indian Tribes
  • Serve as an advisor to Northern Thunder, the NOC club for Native American students

Lab Coordinator- Enid- Part Time

Northern Oklahoma College Division of Agriculture and Biological Science in Enid is seeking a Part-Time, 15 hour/week Laboratory Coordinator to oversee the laboratory components of Biological Science and Chemistry courses. Duties will include communicating with lecture and laboratory instructors to prepare teaching mediums, mixing of chemical solutions and media preparation, inventory and ordering of all lab supplies needed for the lab sections, and general maintenance of the laboratory classrooms. Library Assistant- Enid- Part Time

SUMMARY: Responsible to the Director of Libraries.  The library assistant will be responsible for supervision of the library at night.  This will mainly include assisting with student research and computer usage.  However, this position will also be responsible for helping to answer reference questions, answer the phones, shelve books and close up the library and other duties as assigned. This position is located on the Enid campus. This position is located on the Enid campus and includes afternoon and evening hours, with up to 30 hours per week.

Assistant Softball Coach-Enid-Part Time

SUMMARY: Northern Oklahoma College Enid is seeking an Assistant Coach to assist with the management, supervision, and coordination of said program that competes in the NJCAA Division I – Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference (OCAC). The Assistant Coach is primarily responsible for teaching, instructing and implementing skills and strategy.  Additional occasional responsibilities could include recruiting, scheduling, facility maintenance, tracking student-athlete progress, and promote NOC student-athletes to university coaches. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:

  • Assist the Head Coach with teaching, instructing and implementing sport specific skills and strategy in practice.
  • Establish schedules and make travel arrangements.
  • Monitor academic progress and supervise study halls of student-athletes.
  • Assist with the collection and posting of individual and team statistics to the NJCAA website.
  • Assist with facility maintenance and preparation for practice and games.
  • Be available during posted office hours for members of said team and students
  • Compliance Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach to insure that NJCAA and College policies and mandated requirements are correctly interpreted and met, and that documentation is maintained per Athletic Department policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all actions of coaches and student-athletes of said team are performed with the appropriate level of instruction, safety precautions, and training and that the physical well-being of everyone is taken into account in all that is done as a member of the program.
  • Assist the head coach in regulating, publicizing and enforcing all team regulations regarding personal conduct.

Accountant-Tonkawa-Full Time

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Controller, the Accountant provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports, maintaining internal controls, and monitoring financial transactions.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:

  • Assist with internal and external audits including preparing audit papers, journal entries and other required documentation
