Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Nominations

The highest honor that Northern Oklahoma College bestows upon outstanding alumni, the Distinguished Alumni Award was established to recognize the achievements of former students whose personal lives, professional achievements and community service exemplify the objectives of the college.

ELIGIBILITY:

Nominations may be made for any former student of Northern Oklahoma College.

INELIGIBILITY:

An individual is ineligible to receive the award if he/she is a candidate for public office or an alumnus/a who is currently employed at Northern Oklahoma College.

CRITERIA:

  • Contributions of service to Northern Oklahoma College (time, resources, expertise)
  • Community Service
  • Leadership positions
  • Citations and awards (business, professional, public service)
  • Education
  • Recipients must attend the induction ceremony. An alternate will be chosen in the event one of those originally selected cannot attend. The individual originally selected will remain in the nominee poll for consideration.

NOMINATION PROCESS:

Nominations can come from any current or former member of the Northern faculty/staff or former NOC student/alumnus. All nominees will need to have a biographical form completed to finalize the nomination process. If the individual is deceased, the person nominating will need to provide the biographical information or contact information of the nominee. Selection shall be based upon the information received. The Award recipient(s) will be announced during the Alumni and Friends Reunion.

Nominations are accepted throughout the year. Nominations received by November will be considered for that award year. To nominate an alumnus/a please download and complete the following form and mail it and any additional information that would assist the nominating committee to:
