Responsible to the Vice President for Development and Community Services, the Director of Printing Services is responsible for all areas of print and copy production for the Tonkawa, Enid and Stillwater campuses including press operations, production copy equipment, bindery and finishing, mail preparatory, per-printed fulfillment services, and delivery; Supports the college's Brand Image by ensuring materials produced are top quality and professional grade; Provides direct supervision and coordination of the production and photography staff. Other responsiblities include:

  • Supervise production and photography personnel
  • Oversee production of all printed materials
  • Establish and maintain a good rapport with faculty, staff, students, community and outside vendors
  • Prioritize schedules and ensure deadlines are met consistently
  • Operate digital equipment, inserting/mailing equipment and finishing equipment
  • Inventory control; purchase paper, supplies and outside print buying
  • Assure integrity and accuracy of records; maintain monthly reports
  • Evaluate new technology and machinery making recommendations for upgrades as needed

Graphic Design Specialist II

The Graphic Design Specialist II works effectively in a team environment and assumes primary responsibility for all design and digital production for the Tonkawa, Enid and Stillwater campuses; Provides new and revised designs for the production of printed materials for the Tonkawa, Enid and Stillwater campuses; Supports the college’s Brand Image by ensuring the graphic standards guidelines are followed; and assumes other responsibilities as assigned and works on various special projects as they may arise. Other responsibilities include:

  • Design and produce institutional publications including the Crimson Rambler Annual Report, view book, media guides, catalog and other marketing and promotional items.
  • Design and produce print advertising for the institution.
  • Design and produce logos, artwork and files in a variety of graphical formats for institutional use.
  • Pre-press production and Color digital print output.
  • Prioritize design and digital print schedules and ensure deadlines are met consistently
  • Maintain graphic standards guidelines compliance and athletic artwork approval system.
  • Maintain and archive records and files.
  • Establish and maintain a professional level of customer service with faculty, staff, students and community.

Amie Berryman, B.S. - Photographer

The Institutional Photographer works under the immediate supervision of the Director of Printing Services with collaboration from the Vice President for Development and Community Relations, the institutional Photographer is responsible for providing digital photographic services for Northern Oklahoma College. The Institutional Photographer works effectively in a team environment and serves in a creative role with a variety of departments/campuses to support the community relations, marketing, public information and printing departments of the college. Additionally, she assists with the production of printed materials for the Tonkawa, Enid and Stillwater campuses.
The Institutional Photographer provides photojournalism services and edits, tags, renames, and archives digital images so they can be easily found and used within the institution’s marketing and promotions efforts. Typical functions include
· Event/Institutional Photography
· Action/Sports Photography
· Scan images, photographs and photo manipulation/color correction
· Format Photos in Photoshop according to specs for a variety of platforms
· Knowledge of manual features of a DSLR camera and studio lighting equipment
· Output jobs to laser/inkjet printer and digital color copier
· Maintain archive and provide electronic files and records for use by various departments
· Assist with graphic design in the printing services department as needed
· Support bookstore with website merchandise photographs
· Perform other duties as assigned

    Duplicating Services Technician

    The Duplication specialist works effectively in a team environment. Provides copy services to the administration, faculty, and staff. Helps to maintain and uphold the college’s Brand Image standards;and assumes other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities include:

    • Operate copiers to copy materials for the three campuses
    • Bindery and repair work
    • Package materials for delivery
    • Prepare job tickets
    • Report monthly jobs
    • Keep inventory of stock and order supplies
    • Have mechanical knowledge of digital copy equipment
    • Know step for electronic emailing requests from computer to copiers
    • Assist in usage of inserter, mailing equipment.
