Criteria for Foundation Scholarships vary and may include but not be limited to academic major, geographic location, academic achievement, and financial need. Priority deadline for Incoming students accepted for admission and have completed the scholarship application is February 20th. Current NOC students who complete the scholarship application prior to the end of the spring semester will receive priority consideration for Foundation Scholarships. Students accepted to the Nursing or the Process Technology program should complete the scholarship application by August 1st for consideration of Foundation scholarship.
To receive maximum consideration for need-based scholarships, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)*, available online beginning October 1st. Best consideration date for financial aid is March 1st.
Awarding of Foundation Scholarships begin in early April, and awards amounts vary. Additional information regarding Foundation Scholarships may be found on the NOC website.
*The FAFSA is the only form a student is required to complete to be considered for student assistance from any of the Title IV, except for information needed to ensure the student’s eligibility for such assistance (e.g., information needed to complete verification or to demonstrate compliance with the student eligibility).
