Alia Dust crowned Miss NOC 2026

 Alia Dust of Winfield, Kansas was crowned Miss NOC Tuesday night inside the Dineo Heilmann Auditorium at the Kinzer Performing Arts Center.

She was crowned by Miss NOC 2025 Adysen Thompson and Miss Oklahoma 2025 Tessa Dorrell.

Dust, a freshman at NOC Tonkawa, received a $1000 scholarship award and $1,000 wardrobe scholarship, Miss America crown and pin, sash and a bouquet of long-stemmed red roses. Dust will advance to the Miss Oklahoma Scholarship Pageant in Tulsa next June.

Her talent was performing the song, “Astonishing” from Little Women.  Her Social Impact Initiative was “Driving Under the Influence.”

First runner-up was Addie Kyler from Ponca City.   She received a $600 scholarship award.

Second runner-up was Hailey-Jane Holder from Belton, Texas, who received a $400 scholarship award.  The Third runner-up was Carlaeona Hockert of Tonkawa who received a $300 scholarship award.  Hockert also received the People’s Choice Award.

Other delegates in the Miss NOC Scholarship Competition were Ashley Schwarz, Baldwin City, Kansas; Ella Branstetter, Enid; Emelia Clarke, Sand Springs; Haley Rutherford, Enid; Jaclynn Heitman, Ponca City; Jordan De Leon, Ponca City; Staysha Cummins, Goltry; and Zion Moore, Owasso.

Each received a $250 tuition waiver participation award.

All scholarship Awards are funded by Northern Oklahoma College.

Candidates were judged in the talent competition as well as presence and poise in evening and active wear, and an on-stage question. Earlier in the day they were individually interviewed by five judges.

Dr. Edward Dixon, NOC Fine Arts Division chair, served as master of ceremonies for the evening.

Miss Oklahoma 2025 Adysen Thompson performed a HERstory for the audience.

NOC President Diana Morris and Miss NOC Executive Director Shannon Varner, presented the official Miss NOC portrait to Thompson.
