NOC names 2026 Distinguished Alumni and announces alumni reunion date

Wilma Harman, Adam Leaming, and Rick Scott have been chosen as the Northern Oklahoma College Distinguished Alumni for 2026.

The announcement was made by NOC Director of Alumni and Community Relations Ciera Kirby.

“On behalf of the Alumni Selection Committee, I’m excited to announce the 2026 Inductees and look forward to planning the Alumni Reunion activities,” Kirby said.

Harman, deceased, NOC Class of 1973, was an NOC Fine Arts Division Instructor.

Leaming, NOC Class of 2001, is the Superintendent of Ponca City Public Schools.

Scott, NOC Class of 1983, is the president of Rick Scott Construction in Ponca City.

The banquet will be held Thursday, March 26, at the Renfro Center at 6 p.m.

The award recognizes the achievements of former students whose personal lives, professional achievements and community service exemplify the objectives of the college.
