NOC Livestock Judging Team wraps season at Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

 HOUSTON, Texas — The Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa Livestock Judging Team completed their judging season earlier this month at The 2026 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

In addition to team recognitions, NOC had three students recognized as All-American recipients for the 2025-2026 junior college judging season. This award is a combination of Grade Point Average and judging success.

All three students maintained a 4.0 GPA while judging and include; Madison Fischer, Hempstead, Texas; McKenna Sobasky, Churubusco, Indiana;  and Ashlee Purvine, Fay, Oklahoma.

Other team members who placed included Lilian Buie, Fairfield, Iowa; Emma Pistorius, Blue Mound, Illinois; Paige Wood, Big Cabin, Oklahoma; Brady Perry, Perkins, Oklahoma; Hallie Herrel, Minco, Oklahoma; and Colton Smith, Elgin, Oklahoma.

Northern Oklahoma College, the state’s first public two-year community college, is a multi-campus, land-grant institution that provides high quality, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities and services.
