Northern Oklahoma College is celebrating its 125th birthday with a Quasquicentennial Concert featuring Distinguished Alumni and Tonkawa native Maestro Jerry Steichen.
The free concert will be held Oct. 3 at 6:30 p.m. in Dineo Heilmann Auditorium at the Kinzer Performing Arts Center.
The concert will also feature NOC Fine Arts faculty and the Roustabouts, along with the Quasquicentennial Gala Orchestra, composed of professional musicians from the Oklahoma City Philharmonic and other area orchestras.
Other anniversary events that day include the “Bidding for Bright Futures” NOC Foundation Silent Auction from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Renfro Center and an NOC 125-year retrospective exhibit at the Eleanor Hays Art Gallery in the Kinzer Performing Arts Center.
