The Northern Oklahoma College Theatre Department provides many performance opportunities within its two-year program. Students gain skill in a variety of acting styles as well as student producing, stage management, costuming and technical theatre. Northern produces two plays and two musicals per year. We invite you to be a part of an exhilarating theatre experience.

112ine Arts Theatre Department does one play in the fall, and one play in the springtime.

The 2023 Fall Play is: Puffs – September 28th-30th at 7:30 P.M. and October 1st at 2:00 P.M. in the Kinzer Performing Arts Center.

This hilarious Harry Potter parody follows the story many of us know. However, this version is told from the viewpoint of “The Puffs,” members of one of the four houses at the familiar school for wizards. Puffs was an off-Broadway production that premiered in 2016 and does contain some strong language, making it more appropriate for high-schoolers.

The 2024 Spring Play is: The NOC Play-in-a-Day Festival. We open up to the community and surrounding area to produce some new and original material. Writers, directors, actors, techies and more are given a topic or theme and they go to work. The writers pen a 10 minute play, the director takes that play and guides the rest in a production. Everyone meets on Friday, and performances are held Saturday evening.

The Festival begins Friday, April 12th at 7:30 PM, and concludes with performances Saturday, April 13th, at 7:30 PM.
