Monthly Verification of Enrollment for Ch. 33 (Post-9/11) GI Bill Students

Monthly Verification of Enrollment- Students who are receiving benefits under Chapter 33 (Post-9/11 GI Bill®)must verify their enrollment with the VA starting on the last day of each month before the VA will send out payments to the student. To verify your
attendance, you can call the VA Education Call Center at 1-888-442-4551 OR via text message. Opt in to text
messaging by calling VA ECC at 1-888-442-4551.

At Northern, we want to serve those who have served us! Whether you are interested in starting or continuing your educational degree, Northern Oklahoma College has a program that will work for you when and where you need it. We have a variety of delivery methods, locations, and services to choose from that works best with your learning environment and schedule. Another benefit is that military personnel and their families stationed in Oklahoma get a special tuition adjustment, so you can attend NOC at the in-state tuition rate.

We hope that this website and its features will help our students that are veterans or dependents of veterans to navigate the sometimes confusing area of GI Bill® benefits.

There are important forms and links you can access by clicking on the appropriate links. These include applications for benefits, forms to change your major program or school, the Veterans Advisory Form, among others.

-GI Bill Checklist for Veterans-provides links to websites and forms that you will need get your GI Bill® benefits started or continue using your benefits and lists documentation that you will need to provide to our office.

-GI Bill Checklist for Dependents or Spouses of Veterans-provides links dependents and spouses of veterans will need to get their GI Bill® benefits started or continue using their benefits and lists documentation you need to provide to our office.

-Military and Families Bulletin-Contains information on enrollment, financial aid, tuition assistance, and other useful information and documents for anyone using GI Bill® benefits.

-Veterans Advisory Form-This is the form that needs to be filled out every semester in order to use your benefits at NOC.  It tells us you are enrolled and that you want to use your benefits for a particular semester.
