Northern Oklahoma College is introducing an “Introduction to Wind Energy” course in its Fall 2020 semester. The course is being offered as part of NOC’s Process Technology Program (PTEC).
The purpose of this course is to introduce interested students to Oklahoma’s Wind Energy Sector in preparation for employment in the Wind Energy field. Recent years have seen an increase in the wind farms in the geographical area in which the three NOC campuses are located.
This course is seen as an addition to NOC’s current PTEC program and should provide students currently enrolled and other interested student education in preparation for a career in the wind energy sector.
The Introduction to Wind Energy course is open to all students with an interest whether or not they are currently enrolled in the PTEC program. If interested in this course or in the PTEC program you can contact Dr. Frankie Wood-Black at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 580-628-6440.
