Welcome to Secure NOC
The goal of Secure NOC is to further our mission to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the college’s information and technology assets. As stewards of this mission, Secure NOC offers the following services:
- Identifying, tracking, and mitigating security risks
- Employing critical security controls on behalf of the college
- Establishing cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines to meet college and compliance requirements
- Promoting security awareness across the College community to protect the institution and its students and employees
Cyber Security is a team effort-we all play a role in keeping NOC information and systems safe and secure. Thank you for doing your part!
Report Cyber Security Incident
All users of NOC’s Information Technology Resources are expected to immediately report abuse or a suspected security compromise of those resources. When reporting any phishing or SPAM emails please forward the email and include the full headers of the email when reporting.

Security Bulletins
July 12, 2023 – NOC has been notified about a cybersecurity incident which may impact students and employees. The National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) reported a data breach which occurred due to a vulnerability found in file transfer software that was used by them. The U.S. Department of Education requires that all colleges and universities provide student information to the NSC.
No NOC owned systems are believed to have been affected by this vulnerability. An investigation is currently ongoing to determine the extent of the breach. There are no details yet as to what records are impacted but they could include personal information for students and employees.
NOC takes student and employee privacy seriously and will continue to monitor the situation. If you are affected by this data breach, notice will be provided by NSC and NOC.
