NOC Pandemic Response Plan (read full plan)

NOC will continue to update its pandemic response plan as needed to reflect new guidelines from the health and scientific community, as well as input from all of our constituencies.  In the newly-posted Pandemic Response Plan (formerly titled the Comeback Plan), clarifications have been made in the following areas to further describe plans that were in place for safety:

  • The ongoing review of factors that will be considered in any decision to shift coursework from in-person to online
  • Added description for social gatherings and use of common gathering areas
  • Details on the plan for signage to encourage directional flow in buildings and maximum capacities
  • The addition of self-check thermometer stations
  • The provision of face shields with social distancing as alternative to face mask
  • NOC’s policies for failure to comply with safety standards
  • FFCRA guidelines for family protection under the pandemic
  • Description of new filtration updates
  • Added description for using personal vehicle for school-related travel
  • Clarification of attendance guidelines and student expectations with different modes of delivery
  • Further details on campus events and case-by-case approval process
  • Further guidelines for all athletic activity, including practices
