01.29.2021 – NOC Pandemic Response Plan Update

NOC continues to update its pandemic response plan as needed to reflect new guidelines from the health and scientific community, as well as input from all of our constituencies.  In the newly-posted Pandemic Response Plan, updated 1.29.2021, clarifications have been made in the following areas to further describe plans that are in place for safety:
 
  • Updated Table of Contents which is interactive/responsive
  • Updated the spring semester academic calendar to reflect extending spring enrollment and adding wellness days (https://www.noc.edu/academics/course-schedules)
  • Updated information on spring commencement and other end of year academic events, announced plans for fall semester and extended date of all suspended non-college events
  • Updated the NOC Self-Assessment Checklist with campus contacts (see attached NOC Self-Assessment Checklist- Updated 1.6.2021.pdf)
  • Updated Campus Contacts and provided information on how new students and employees can receive their PPE
  • Fixed submission issues with NOC COVID-19 Self-Reporting Form https://www.noc.edu/emergency/noc-covid-19-self-reporting/
  • Updated Procedures for Positive COVID-19 Case or Primary Exposure Contact for Students and Employees regarding options to reduce quarantine for contacts of persons with SARS-CoV-2 Infection using symptom monitoring
  • Updated employee information in regards to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA Leave) requirements expired date of  December 31, 2020
  • Updated College-Related Travel
  • Updated Study Abroad and international travel
  • Updated Instruction and Learning Environment related to virtual attendance
  • Updated Campus Life Facilities – Residence Halls (Enid/Tonkawa) regarding move in dates for spring semester
  • Updated Wellness Center (Enid/Tonkawa) regarding hours of operation for the spring semester
  • Updated All Other Activities, Events and Services with reduced capacity of maximum facility seating in given venue
  • Updated Athletics Region 2 Potential Protocols & Policies for Return to Competition 2020-21 including new NOC attendance Protocols for 2021 Basketball Season
  • Updated Northern Oklahoma College Agriculture Teams’ Procedures for COVID-19
  • Updated Most Frequently Asked Questions https://www.noc.edu/emergency/frequentlyaskedquestions/
 Northern Oklahoma College will continue reporting weekly on positive cases and required quarantine cases associated with students, faculty and staff. The Weekly Pandemic Situation Update will be posted on the emergency page by the close of the business day each Friday to keep the campus community informed. 
 
Plans for the Operation of Northern Oklahoma College in preparation for, and during the 2020-2021 academic year are subject to change based on current COVID-19 conditions. NOC protocols are effective until amended in writing. Announcements and updated information will be posted when they are available on the college website at http://www.noc.edu/emergency/.
